Handed out Progress Reports (sent home to parent/guardian emails on Friday)
Assigned handout - p.451 12-14 / p.453 4-5
Also assigned p.451 #21 which students can do on loose-leaf or on the back of the handout.
Students were given the period to work on these assignments as well as any others they may be behind on
Afternoon:
Continued catch-up work.  Reviewed the Essay questions on the Study Guide.
Gave students the Study Guide and a notecard to prepare for the test on Wednesday morning.  If the Study Guide is complete students can attach it to their tests and gain a 5% bonus on the multiple choice questions.  They cannot use the Study Guide as a cheat sheet during the test BUT CAN use the notecard.  My recommendation to students is to write an outline for one of the essay questions on the notecard.

Began watching "The House I Live In":
Students filled in a worksheet as we watched. (Download worksheet if you weren't in class)
Homework:
Students should finish watching the film and filling in the worksheets.
Students should complete three (3) of the five Writing Prompts on the back side of the video worksheets.  Pay careful attention to the provided rubrics for guidance in your writing.  Again, only write on THREE of the prompts.

Homework:
​As students will not be in class on Friday but are expected to receive school work to complete at home, they are expected to finish the film above and complete the good copy of the movie guide.  This will include #11 and #12.  If students wish to have a chance to receive an "Extending" mark for the package they should also complete #13 which will require them to do a little bit of research on Wikipedia.
Students should also catch up on any assignment we have done since Spring Break.  These can be found on the white board in the classroom or by referring to this homework page.
