Students should also go over their mark sheets and ensure that they get unfinished material handed in by the deadline listed above. Geography 12 In-class: Students were provided this period to complete any assignments that are outstanding - particularly the ones from the Biomes Unit, complete the Focus Questions from the Biomes unit, and study for the test on Thursday. Homework: Students can complete any of the material above as well as work on their Biomes Projects. While this is indicated on the study sheet, make sure you read p.v-vii in your text as there is definitely a questions about the Geographics themes in the written portion of your test. Law Studies 12 In-class: Read and discussed p.262-270 Students were assigned p.265 1-5 and p.270 1-5 They were also reminded to complete the paragraphs for "The House I Live In" Homework: Students should complete any of the above as well as any outstanding assignments from the mark sheets they were given today. History 12 In-class: Today was given to students as a catch-up day to wrap up the World War II assignments. We also went over the Holocaust Project and students had an opportunity to select which questions they would answer in their projects - First come first served! Homework: Continue finishing up any of the WWII assignments. Homework: Complete Learning Portfolio #10 (Augustus) Geography 12 In-class: Gave out Biomes Projects - Due Tuesday, November 24 Gave out Study Sheet for Biomes Test - next Thursday Students used the period to work on their projects or catch up on their worksheets/Focus Questions Homework: We will have one more working period to complete worksheets and Focus questions on Tuesday. Homework: Students should finish watching the film and filling in the worksheets. Students should complete three (3) of the five Writing Prompts on the back side of the video worksheets. Pay careful attention to the provided rubrics for guidance in your writing. Again, only write on THREE of the prompts. History 12 In-class: Gave students a worksheet package containing: 3-2 Concentration Camps 3-14 Hitler's Anti-Semitism 3-15 Auschwitz Testimony 3-18 Key Wartime Conferences Students worked on these as well as work from previous classes. Students should complete the WWII Timeline worksheet Homework: Work on the assignments above. Comparative Cultures 12 In-class: Discussion of Dictators - Is there such a thing as a good dictator? Is there such a thing as a good Emperor? What is the criteria for a good Emperor? Watched the following: This second video is not the same one as we watched in class but covers the same material.
